Nowell. With envelope. Cannot attend musicale, due to ill health. [3] 1896, ca. June, New York, to Hal [Harriet Elizabeth (Prescott) Spofford]. Is sailing for England. Asks Mrs. Spofford to write. [4] 1896, Dec. 3, to Sir. Gives address of Mr. Barrie, who sailed for England three weeks ago. [5] n.y., March 18, to Charles Scribner's Sons. Sends her articles and offers to do others. [6] n.d., to Mr. Riding. Asks Mr. Riding to call with Mrs. Riding.
